PROJECT : RENOVATION, ALTERATIONS & EXTENSION TO A FAMILY HOME IN FARNHAM
CLIENT : FAMILY WITH THREE YOUNG CHILDREN
This property has been transformed by large scale internal works, a small ground floor extension and a first floor extension over a flat roof. Amongst other changes, we opened out the ground floor to create a sociable kitchen / dining / living area and it has completely changed the way this young family use their home. A transformed kitchen with new corner window to maximise the beautiful countryside views.
A much lighter, more sociable feel, with the kitchen opened out into the dining / living spaces and new bi-fold doors out to the garden.
Previously a narrow hallway with lots of doorways and little storage, the new entrance hall now has wide oak double doors through to the rear of the house and a built in cloakroom area with bench seat and ample space for coats and shoes.
The new hallway creates a much more welcoming entrance to the house.
A corner window was used in the new master bedroom too - not a bad view to wake up to each morning!
With the addition of the extensions and the painted render the rear of the house now has a much more contemporary feel.
